Lactation Consultations 

​Do you have sore nipples? Unsure if your baby is getting enough milk? Is your baby having issues gaining weight? All of these and more can be discussed in your private consultation with Dawn Bower, IBCLC. Your baby will be weighed, his or her mouth and tongue evaluated, a detailed medical history on both you and your baby taken, and nursing will be observed. You will leave with a plan of care that suits your needs and desires, enabling you to feel comfortable and confident with your breastfeeding goals. Dawn will provide follow up care and referrals as needed. 

​We also offer prenatal lactation consults! Preparing to breastfeed during pregnancy is often the first step towards reaching your goal.
